Well, you get the idea.

And if you are one of about 1/2 the planet that are now in lockdown or quarantine… you may feel like it’s every day is groundhog day for you too.

But even though Groundhog Day is a comedy… there’s a secret in the movie for surviving and even thriving these hamster wheel days.

Now in the movie Phil goes through stages of confusion and fear. Then tries binge eating and drinking, one-night stands, and robbery.

At one point he even tries killing himself… only to wake up again to have to re-live the same day.

Once he realizes there is no way out, he decides to take advantage of the situation by becoming a better version of himself.

He takes piano lessons.

He learns how to do ice sculptures.

He learns to speak French.

And he starts helping the local townspeople.

As a result he becomes a much happier man.
